La Leche League Canada (LLLC) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to providing peer-to-peer breastfeeding support for expectant parents, new families, and beyond. Our volunteer Leaders—parents just like you who have nursed their own children—are trained and accredited to offer compassionate, evidence-based breastfeeding information at no cost.

How We Support You
Wherever you are in your breastfeeding journey, we’re here for you—in person, by phone, online, or through informal group meetings. Our volunteer Leaders provide up-to-date, evidence-based information on breastfeeding and human milk, tailored to the needs of the communities they serve.
For over 60 years, we’ve been a trusted resource in every province and territory, working alongside healthcare providers to support parents in raising happy, healthy children. Our Health Care Provider Education programs also help strengthen professional knowledge about lactation and human milk.
Free, Accessible, and Community-Based
No cost - All informal group meetings and one-on-one support from a Leader are free of charge.
National & Global - LLLC is part of La Leche League International, a global network supporting breastfeeding families worldwide.
